Chilean Prisons: Words in solidarity with Tamara Sol, Tato and Claudia

Note from Insurrection News: The following text by imprisoned compañeros Fabián Durán, Enrique Guzmán,  Nicolás Rojas and Joaquín García was written in response to the cowardly attacks by prison guards against the imprisoned compañeras Tamara Sol, Tato and Claudia that took place at the San Joaquin women’s prison on January 11th and 12th. In response to these brutal and cowardly attacks friends and relatives of the compañeras quickly mobilized and held a demonstration outside the prison on January 13th. Banners were displayed outside the prison, slogans were shouted and also painted on the prison walls. Riot police eventually attacked the demonstration with water cannons and arrested 5 compas. Although the demonstration was suppressed it sent a clear message to the prison authorities that attacks against imprisoned revolutionary compas will be immediately responded to. From the modules of the maximum security section we salute each of the compas kidnapped by the state, who day by day, with dignity and pride, face the prison reality in each of its expressions and forms.

A few days ago we learned in a more or less partial form of the cowardly attack by the prison guards against the compañeras Tamara Sol, Tato and Claudia. We are fully aware of how repetitive these actions have become, whether as punishment, isolation or an eternal package but the recurrence prevents normalization, this gives us more strength, to ourselves and to our convictions. Each day we become more acutely eager for revenge against the prison society and those who defend it.

We know the personal motivations of many prison guards and the truth is they do not worry us, because we know how they feel about subversive prisoners and we know that each cowardly attack is due to their frustrated attempts at defeating us, therefore they are nothing but reasons for us to feel proud.

We greet each of the compañerxs and relatives who with their solidarity and unyielding attitudes held a rally outside the prison in support of the compas.

We end these words sending much love and strength to the compañeras.

We are attentive to their decisions and we will not hesitate to join them in whatever actions they deem necessary.

Financial Campaign to aid political prisoners in greece

The state through repressive mechanisms (cops, jail guards) and judicial power (prosecutors, judges) aimed at physical and psychological extermination of political prisoners.
Prisoners and comrades however, are in a daily struggle between “special” conditions of detention, vindictive transfers, visiting denials, intimidation and persecution of relatives and friendly contacts and relatives, isolations, deprivation of rights like exit permit from prison, intent proceedings and indictments for statements of regret, self-censorship and capitulation. The ideas however are not imprisoned and solidarity is not penalized by any terror law . We build bridges to continue our common struggle by whatever means available. We support the imprisoned comrades both politically and morally through the promotion of their speech and the practical questioning of state power. For a long period some detainees and prisoners do not receive absolutely no material help and they still fight agianst the state oppression .
For these reasons, we constitute an initiative of financial support for the prisoners comrades.

Italy: Update on Operation “Scripta Manent” – 16/01/2017

The Court of Cassation decided to commit Daniele Cortelli for trial, concerning the decision of Court of Liberty [provincial appeals court]. Additionally, on January 10th the judge for the preliminary investigations rejected the house arrest.

We have been informed, after the prison visits, that Marco Bisesti has had the disciplinary council on January 13th, but he did not know its outcome yet, following the fact that he smashed with a coatrack several objects in prison office. This gesture was triggered by the installation of opaque windows which actually made impossible to look outside the building.

Hambach, Germany: Coordinated arson attacks against energy multinational RWE

In the late hours of 25-11-16, we carried out coordinated arson attacks against the German energy multinational RWE in the vicinity of the Hambach opencast lignite mine. We have delayed this communique until now (11-1-17) for strategic purposes.

After a scout of the area, we split up and set fire to six pumping stations, two electrical transformers, one digger and a substation of the electrical grid.
Pumping stations are key pieces of the mines infrastructure used to lower the water table and prevent the flooding of the mine. They most often resemble a section of exposed pipe and an electrical box surrounded by construction fence. We prised open the electrical boxes using a crowbar and placed simple timed incendiary devices and a bundle of bicycle inner tubes inside to ensure the flames caught nicely.

The incendiary devices were composed of a candle secured to a firelighter cube with a strong rubber band. The candles burnt down slowly, then ignited the firelighters once we were safely away from the area. After smashing a window to gain access, we used the same devices to burn out the cab of the digger.

For the transformers and the substation we burnt car tires filled with gasoline soaked rags. We placed these beneath exposed insulated cabling on the substation and inside the transformers. Within several minutes these targets were engulfed in flames and as we departed the substation exploded, sending arcing electricity and purple flames ten metres into the night sky. Although this caused a blackout two kilometres wide, the local media-scum failed to mention it in any of their press, downplaying it to the burning of the two transformers alone.

As the techno-industrial megamachine grinds on every day, destroying and polluting all that is still wild and beautiful in this world, we feel that actions like this are a necessary measure to stay sane and remind ourselves that we are still alive amidst all of the destruction and misery of modern society.

After all, the only way one can enjoy the industrial landscape at all is by crawling around in the tall grasses and nettles with the other animals and finding a good vantage point from which to observe pillars of black smoke rising from the scorched machinery and infrastructure of civilization.

We wish to send a wink of complicity to the captive anarchists accused of bank robberies in Aachen and to Chilean prisoner of war Kevin Garrido, held for explosive attacks in the city of Santiago.

Νew years eve outside of Korydallos prisons (31/12/16)

As every year, like this one we celebrated the new year outside Korydallos prison next to our imprisoned comrades.

The difference with the previous years is that we managed to stand very close to the women’s prison and to make a small demostration around the male prisons shouting slogans without the uniformed bastards to keep us at a distance from the walls of the prison.

We stand by our captive comrades.

Dates set for the hearings of appeal in Court of Cassation against the order of Court of Liberty [provincial appeals court] that confirmed the pre-trial detentions ordered by the judge for preliminary investigations.

Daniele Cortelli (not under investigation in operation “Scripta Manent” but arrested following the search carried out for it): January 13th, 2017.

Instead, for Marco Bisesti, Anna Beniamino, Alessandro Mercogliano, Valentina Speziale and Danilo Cremonese: February 21st, 2017.

Italy: Operation “Scripta Manent” — Solidarity poster

How many beings have gone through life without ever wake up!

And how many others have realized that they have lived

only for the monotonous tick-tock of the clocks.

It is a great joy

to see blow up

barracks, courthouses and

agents of Power.

The system and its structures are not abstract, they are clearly visible;

the perpetrators have names and surnames

and they can be easily identified.

To each his own choice.

Since 2003 various cells of Informal Anarchist Federation have carried out dozens of direct actions across Italy. On September 6th with operation “Scripta Manent” the State have imprisoned 8 anarchist comrades, accusing them of some of these actions. We don’t need to know who carried out these actions and if there are any connections with the arrested comrades. Our heart will continue to beat with everyone who choose a path of non submission and of attack on Power.

Solidarity with Valentina, Danilo, Anna, Marco, Sandro, Daniele, Nicola, Alfredo and with all anarchist imprisoned everywhere.

Athens: Attack agains OPKE unit in Exacheia

On Tuesday , December 6 of 2016 , 8 years after the murder of the antiauthoritarian Alexandros Grigoropoulos by the cops, anarchists , antiauthoritarians , neighbors and people who hang around Exarcheia decided to break the normality of the miserable life imposed by the social standards and resist the state repression. Every year, that day the neighborhood of Exarcheia is surrounded by cops trying to stop the vengeful rage of those who take the streets fighting.

But this time, the resistance of the rioters was more organized and coordinated than ever, following the response against the state in the clashes of November 15 and 17. The anti-state offensive was fierce, and that was proved because – despite the murderous firing of rubber bullets and tear gas directly into the bodies – The uniformed fascists only managed to pass the burning barricades late at night, and after most of the people , especially the organized ones had already left the place.

This victory of ours hurt the servants of the state, who projected all their psycological complexes beating the arrested people of that night. Their cowardly violence and the attempt of the greek bullies to humilliate the arrested comrades is the proof of their bitter defeat.
Also the filthy judges plays their part on the repression of the insurgents when acting in the name of all the state authorities send three of the arrested on pre-trial imprisonement.
The surrounding of Exarcheia was already intensified before 6 December, with the characteristic example of the invasion of motorcicle police forces and the control of migrants. It was like that until the 6/12, particularly with the presence of special forces of OPKE in the area.

We answer the murderes of minors with the same thing that they learn to taste all this years: fire.
In the evening of Friday , December 16, we choose to attack the bullies of the greek police located at the intersection of Kallidromiou street and Oikonomou street, supposedly to protect the supermarket besides. For those who knows the area of Exarcheia, is obvious that the deployment of OPKE units in that place serves other purposes and is framed in a broader plan that seeks to control the neigborhood.

The tasks of this unit (OPKE) in the past years at the city outskirts and specially in the west zone of Athens had as only objective the military-style ID control to youngsters , outcast and migrants. The ridiculous reasons that they use to impose their reign of terror in Exarcheia will be answered with gasoline and fire over their heads. The armed cops of OPKE showed their huge skills when they began to run away in panic and hide behind a car in sight of the 15 molotovs flying against them.

The clashes and the diffusion of insurrectionary situations must be a daily practice. That December 6 light up the metropolis every night, until freedom and anarchy.

For my part i did not meet Angry, but his death ( that was not indifferent for me) bring him next to me through his texts , drawings , songs or memories of other people who make him alive with great affection, and allowed me and allows me go farther that day December 11 for taking a more deep sense of memory of a comrade and also of others. A sense of recognition of the person itself, of a being who did the step to challenge himself, and this society and civilization of domination through the attempt of living another life that was not the established and pre-fabricated one. With the good and bad moments, contradictions and hits that entail the choices and refractory wills.
The memory i am talking about begin from a feeling of affinity with the comrade and certain experiences, practices , desires , feelings and ideas that fill our lives of a own sense , pride and the impulse to walk by a similar path of struggle and confrontation, of wishes and creation.
It is so the political and personal elements ( even from the last ones i cant explain myself very well) of his daily life and personality take importance. As his way of feed himself, his negation to consume certain products and substances, his love for the earth, having in consideration other lives that are not the human, his contempt for the wage labor, his ilegalism , and that energy and that spark that he had , also takes on strength and makes his action of expropiation and his attitude valuable. For this reasons , i regret that someone like this is no longer between us. Because besides of being propelled by direct actions, expropiations and ilegalism , he was someone who try to take and make his own life in rebellion.
For all this i will never forget who was and what kind of citizen ( a security guard) is the damned one who kill Angry
